With nearly two decades of experience in strategic fundraising, grant development, and nonprofit leadership, Amber founded AGM to help organizations maximize their potential and achieve lasting impact.

Founder's Journey
Foundation
Amber has an MS from Pratt Institute's Graduate School for Planning and the Environment and a BA in Writing and Women's Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. Amber's background spans education, organizing, advocacy, and direct service work, including housing, economic, and racial justice, climate and environment, sustainable international development, tech for good, healthcare, and democracy and bodily autonomy.
Professional Growth
Over the course of her career, Amber has led resource development and funding strategy in roles as a Consultant, Grant Writer, Development Director, Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Grant Development and Foundation Relations Manager. She also supports non-profit board leadership through roles including Secretary, Fundraising Chair, and Finance and Governance Committee membership.

When she's out of the office, AGM founder Amber can be found exploring Houston's vibrant culinary scene, volunteering with community organizations, watching documentaries, or spending time with her pets and family. She believes purpose-driven work is best balanced with joy, rest, and plenty of laughter.
